The Cove on Winning Streak
As director, Louie Psihoyos wraps up his US film festival tour, accompanying The Cove, awards continue to rain.
This past weekend, the first-time filmmaker won Audience Awards at Nantucket, Sydney and SilverDocs. This is only the latest collection of kudos, having already won at HotDocs, Seattle and Newport. And Sundance.
As writer Peter Knet put it in his IndieWire column, "Seven audience awards from some highly reputable fests is no small feat."
